Five Rare Words That I Have Never Used Before
balnearii - People who steal clothing from public baths.
bathysiderodromophobia - The fear of subways.
ventripotent - Having a fat belly, or being a glutton.
yaud - A worn out or old horse.
zenzizenzizenzic - A number raised to the eighth power.
i haven't ever used any of those words, either, although i do actually have experience with all of them!
ReplyDeleteNow I can tell people that my belly isn't fat, it is ventripotent (that sounds much more important;)

ReplyDeleteI wasn't seriously doubting you - only kidding around. I obviously need to expand my vocabulary.
ReplyDeleteThe trick now is to incorporate those words into conversations today.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I feel that ventripotent might have some meaning around this house!

ReplyDeleteThat zenzen word certainly explains part of the reason why I hate math.
