When I got my masters, though, I had to take a test for proficiency in a language. On the way to the exam, some guy rear-ended me, so I was completely frazzled through the whole thing and just barely squeaked by.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6984417644276478525.post-43315788949825439652009-01-15T10:33:00.000-07:002009-01-15T10:33:00.000-07:00Your story wasn't meandering. (And I did chuckle a bit that you chose two very difficult languages as your first two choices,to learn proficiently in about a year. Too funny.) And now I'm wondering how you can "accidentally" get poetry published?Heatherlynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09355263068372248035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6984417644276478525.post-49149686322975783002009-01-15T09:01:00.000-07:002009-01-15T09:01:00.000-07:00We're basically the exact opposite. I'm fluent in Spanish and can at least hold conversation in Italian whereas I do not understand computer language in the least.

C++ was my first ever failing grade.

And on the quiz, I act like I'm 26 so about 5 years older than I actually am.

- Kendall from Mama Kat'sKendallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11222710883489615177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6984417644276478525.post-39163537184248880332009-01-15T08:39:00.000-07:002009-01-15T08:39:00.000-07:00Well, this is sad. Something has happened to the display on my computer - just internet stuff and nothing fixable in the control panel. Consequently the quiz was absolutely microscopic. It made me feel like I was 105, and looking for the light at the end of the tunnel... like God wanted to know which TV show I watched, but I couldn't see any of the answers. Thanks. My head hurts.Sometimes Sophiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10053598560687202583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6984417644276478525.post-82966789584458432382009-01-14T20:29:00.000-07:002009-01-14T20:29:00.000-07:00That sounds absolutely terrifying! I'm quite impressed with your smartitude.

And on the other order of business, apparently I act like I'm 18. However, I was totally expecting to hear something along the lines of 82. Who knew?

Loved your workshop post!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
